1. What is one thing to have to do any ventriloquist?
"A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men." Proverbs 18:16. Practice! In the room where you spend most of the time you place your doll on a stand and a mirror. Assuming you are talking to a friend every time you pass through your doll. Move the doll in stupid ways. Develop new ideas every day, as you grow to know your doll. Your personality is created. Even if you do not have talent and want agood ventriloquist, they get only a doll and play with him often. Practice control your lips when you in the car.
This is my new, what I do - sing and talk while you walk the streets without moving his lips and ACT NORMAL. This is normal behavior a great practice, and a big advantage of your time. Sometimes getting rid of the mirror. Instead, practice before a video camera. Acting normal will be impossible if you are always a mirror, you are co-dependent.
2. What ismust avoid each ventriloquists?
Avoid in your comfort zone. Think outside the box. Instead of doing what everyone else takes a common cause and go a step further. Just do it.
I recommend:
1) Step out of the comfort zone through the use of new materials often. Do carry out free, for neighbors and nursing homes, and bring your doll when you go shopping. Although not, expect to get any shopping done. I take my doll with me to local stores. It forces me to be in new situations, teaches me how to move my doll, as well as what to say, in new ways. This has significantly improved my doll manipulation.
2) Avoid the lecture in sound and appearance. People-watching, move the puppet of the same type, move like humans. Move your body like you would if you had your doll a man. Dan Horn is ideal for this technique. He has his tongue from his mouth, brushing his hair from his face, gets a drink, and she offers to his puppet. BENATURAL. Get comfortable. If you enjoy it, the audience will too.
3. Is this something, this stuff is here to stay ventriloquist?
I think so. It's like watching a cartoon to life before your eyes. This never gets old.
4. Can a ventriloquist to be successful when they crowded in a niche?
Yes! Just be yourself, find your unique style of clothing, dolls and presentation. PRACTICE!
5. What did ventriloquism for you?
It has opened the door for me to shareGod is everywhere a good God and a loving father. I share these creative and not in the conventional manner by other ventriloquists. I want to hear the message and not even be aware they heard it because they are involved in the show. I'd rather show than to preach.
I am a professional clown / ventriloquist ventriloquist and adding the part has opened the door to the "clown" for adults. I never perform without ventriloquist dressed like a clown. I am of the bandsClown / ventriloquist, which is my unique way of using ventriloquism.
6. What trends do you currently see in Ventriloquism?
I see too many hard numbers. I personally think they are limited. They have eyes, ears, nose and hair that wobble. How many times you can do this in a show? Soft dolls move, bend and rotate to different reactions, which can be funny or realistic portray.
7. What was your first job?
I'm clowning for 15 years and have always someArt by Niki monkey. About four months ago, I bought my first professional puppet theater, an orang-utan Axtell. It was love at first sight. She looked so good I decided to get serious with a ventriloquist, so I signed up for the convention in 2007 and decided on the stage for my first big show. I have them for performances at three other nursing homes and at my home church. I did okay, but I felt not enough practice, because the audience was made up of experienced and I forgot about ventriloquist partmy show. So practice!
I'm my worst critic. The worst thing for me is the struggle in my head, knowing that I am much better than what I have just done.
